Support Conservation Action in 2026

All across the world, vital ecosystems are in danger. Nowhere is this more apparent than the Great Salt Lake of Utah. This lake produces life-sustaining snow for the region, traps toxic dust, and provides the habitat for millions of birds. Without bold action, it could disappear—but because of your support, hope is not lost.

Earlier this year, members of Latter-day Saint Earth Stewardship in Utah gave up one of their Saturday mornings to help preserve the Great Salt Lake. More than 100 volunteers hunted for plastic and litter across the lake's southern shore, ultimately cleaning up hundreds of pounds of trash. And there was joy too—young “earth stewards” joined in an Easter egg hunt with reusable cloth eggs, learning firsthand that caring for the planet can be fun.

Wherever we live in the world, we also have critical habitats in need of protecting. Because of supporters like you, this spirit of stewardship is growing worldwide.The Salt Lake LDSES chapter is not alone, this year LDSES chapters also

• planted 3000 mangroves in the Philippines
• picked up 3000 pounds of rock at Utah Lake
• supported the work of over 25 artists
• cleaned up 600 pounds of trash worldwide
• served more than 1100 hours across our chapters in Utah, California, Idaho, Washington D.C., Boston, New York, Ghana, Germany, and more!
