For me, serving on the board of Latter-day Saint Earth Stewardship (LDSES) is an opportunity to show my gratitude to my Father in Heaven for the creation, which is a central part of my faith. Additionally, I feel an increased responsibility for encouraging earth stewardship after hearing Elder Jack Gerard of the Quorum of the Seventy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invite people of faith to lead in combatting climate change and to teach others about our role in protecting all of God's creations in a recent address to the Faith Pavilion at COP29. That is just what we are trying to do at LDSES. Our vision is "Every Saint a Steward;" we seek to accomplish that vision by supporting local chapters in their earth care activities and providing environmental education. Your contribution would enable us to continue our important work.
